Humour Central has given rise to Brown Swan, a form of production that supplies the scripts and invites the audience, with a little seeding, to read or perform the lines. Gigs scheduled for 14th March, LS6/Clock Cafe and, in support, at Full Circle, Kirkstall Road, 31st March.
April/May April 23 Waterstones, Leeds Reading of a fiction: Orwell, Wodehouse and Aristotle on poetry, and, more to the point, poets. Nothing on Shakespeare, as it happens.
June/July East Leeds Radio (ELFM): Writing on Air festival, 15th - 24th June. Stories, humour, poetry, music. Listen to the Deli, 6.30pm, second Tuesday of the month. Next one: 10th July Check on www.elfm.co.uk One open mic at Grove - sketches and music. Thanks to Harry for help.
August/September August 14th Deli "an unparalled success". Writers' Circle Summer Open Mic: another chance to do the sitcom/memoir spoof.
